About Me

Tony Kenck: I am a geoscientist with an MBA. I have worked in and around the oil business since graduating from college in 1979. I have slowly moved from being a supporter of conservative politicians to a supporter of more liberal ones. I don't think I have changed as much as the times have though. I am fundamentally a libertarian in outlook. I believe in personal responsibility and also that government has a vital role in guarding the "commons." For a long time I thought the Republican party was doing a better job of that; now I think that the Democratic party is better suited. I'm not terribly happy with either party though.
